Dr. Selaiman Noori is an interventional pain specialist and anesthesiologist. He is double board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. Dr. Noori embraces a multidisciplinary approach to treating pain. He includes physical therapy, interventional procedures, and regenerative medicine in designing individualized pain management programs for his patients. Dr. Noori’s first objective is to get your pain controlled, but his overarching goal is to get you functioning again at your full capacity.
Dr. Noori was born and raised in Northern California. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Davis followed by a Master of Arts from Loyola University Chicago. He then went on to study medicine at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York where he earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Following medical school, Dr. Noori completed a residency in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the prestigious New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. During residency, he also trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Hospital for Special Surgery, the top cancer and orthopedic hospitals in the country, respectively. Dr. Noori first became exposed to the rewarding specialty of chronic pain management as a resident and found it to be his true calling. Therefore, following residency he completed an ACGME accredited Pain Medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, the top pain program in the country.
Aside from clinical practice, Dr. Noori is active in medical research and has published widely in highly regarded medical journals such as Pain Medicine and Neuromodulation. He has also contributed several chapters to pain medicine textbooks as well as presented his work at numerous regional and international conferences. Dr. Noori’s passion for research allows him to provide his patients with the most advanced and cutting-edge therapies available.
Dr. Noori and his family recently resettled in Arizona and can’t get enough of the beautiful landscapes and sunsets. Dr. Noori looks forward to serving his new community and partnering with his patients to help them achieve their wellness goals.

He then went on to complete an ACGME accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. His fellowship training allowed him to experience a breadth of advanced interventional therapies, minimally invasive surgeries and clinical trials for chronic pain management.Dr. Diep offers patients a variety of treatments, including some of the most advanced and progressive interventional therapies in the region. He performs procedures under ultrasound and/or fluoroscopic (X-ray) guidance. He specializes in neuromodulation therapies for post-laminectomy/failed back surgery syndrome and complex regional pain syndrome, including spinal cord stimulation and dorsal root ganglion stimulation. Dr. Diep is passionate about advanced minimally invasive therapies for lumbar spinal stenosis, sacroiliac joint instability, vertebral compression fractures and cancer pain.He serves as faculty and has taught at labs for organizations including the Pacific Spine & Pain Society (PSPS) and the American Society of Pain & Neuroscience (ASPN). Most recently, he taught radiofrequency ablation at the ASPN’s Innovation Summit. This was the world’s largest pain cadaver lab.
Dr. Diep’s goal is to help patients achieve functional restoration and an improved quality of life through an effective multidisciplinary and individualized approach to pain management, cutting-edge interventional techniques, and utilizing evidence-based medicine.
